Day 28 Kashimashii (Japanese) Noisy, Mischievous
This is a party in an outrigger :)

Day 29 Chushin (Japanese) Heart, core, mind, inside feeling

Powder Sgrafitto Abstract Drawing Challenge_Day 25 Mamihlapinatapai

Mamihlapinatapai
Noun. (Yaghan)

Day 25 assignment is to draw mamihlapinatapai.  This is a Yaghan word...at first glance I thought it was a Hawaiian word with all those vowels :)  So this is "a silent acknowledgement and understanding between two people, who are both wishing or thinking the same thing (and are both unwilling to initiate.

My interpretation of  mamihlapinatapai involves a couple who have deep feelings for each other but neither can profess their love because they are both in committed relationships.

Powder Sgrafitto Abstract Drawing_Day 22 -24

Oh boy, another catch up day!
Day 22 assignment is a Norwegian term for "The indescribable euphoria experienced as you begin to fall in love.  I hope everyone gets to experience this!

Day 23 is Goya - A transporting suspension of disbelief - An "as-if" that feels like reality - such as in good storytelling.

Day 24 Ya'aburnee is Arabic "you bury me".  A beautifully morbid declaration of one's hope that they will die before another person, as it would be too difficult living without them.
